Yesterday my parents came to town to help my brother move out and also to help him find a car. Luckily he did because he’s going to need it for his job this summer. Congrats on your first car purchase, Brother!!!
Then I hinted (not very subtly and maybe multiple times) that we needed to go to get ice cream. My dad finally succumbed. He’s the best. Unfortunately, I realized later that I didn’t get a picture with my parents. Sorry!
This is Aggie Blue Mint (mint ice cream with cookie crumbs…kinda oreo like…and white chocolate chips!) and Centennial (cheesecake ice cream with dried cherries, toffee, and graham cracker crumbs).
Then later some friends and I decided to trek up to a small town about 30 minutes away to the bowling alley featured in Napoleon Dynamite. (did any of you see that movie? it’s one of those sucky to watch, but fun to quote movies)
POP N’ PINS LANES
It was adorable!!! Just look at this place.
Then some of the gang decided we needed to make it interesting and we all requested the biggest shoes possible, which were shoes between sizes 13-16. It made it so much harder to bowl! Not that I’m any good anyway. But I took the opportunity to blame the shoes all night 😉
What a fun group! Good times. I guarantee we’ll be going back!
Yesterday’s workout (since this is still a fitness blog): I didn’t feel up to running and was short on time, so I did Jillian’s 30 Day Shred, level 3. Ouch!
What was your first car?
Favorite ice cream flavor?
When was the last time you went bowling? Are you any good??
