I’m usually writing about mishaps with my daughter or crazy Ironman husband…
But, in honor of “See This Girl Run, I thought I’d share some “see this mom run” moments in the form of my fave workouts.
Workout #1- Hills
What I usually look like after this workout
Workout #2- Speed Work on the Treads
I admit, I was a rat on a wheel in my former life so I love going fast on the treadmill. Any pace that is at least 15 seconds faster than your goal race pace works.
What I look like after these workouts
Like I totally rock. Even the hubs agrees.
Workout #3- Speed Work on the road
My 3-2-1 workout. Warm up first with a 5-10 minute slow run. Then run 3 miles as fast as you can, jog/walk for 3 minutes. Run 2 miles as fast as you can, jog/walk for 3 minutes. Run 1 mile as fast as you can. I’ve been meaning to reverse and go 1-2-3, but I’m too chicken that my legs will give out on me!

Dripping sweat! Clearly summer selfies should be banned for runners.
And just because my daughter, Gentry, is requesting a cameo, I also feel like this
